Betty's started getting into selling books after agreeing to hold a book launch for a local writer. She commented, “No one will sell my books” and we realized that there really were no stores in the Borderland that sold books.

We really broke into the literature market with the sales of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, and since then we've expanded our with a wide range of genres for people of all ages, which include, but are not limited to:

Early Learning books (Ages 0-6)
Children's books (Ages 6-12)
Fantasy (including the Harry Potter and Twilight series)

What to Expect When You're Expecting books
History (including WWI, WWII, Canadian and local history, and politics)

Bathroom Readers (including Uncle John's bathroom reader series)
Books by local authors

One area that we've especially focussed on is the early learning books for children, ages 0-6 and 6-12. Along with the personal sales of these books, we also offer discounts and delivery of the learning books to educational institutions in the Borderland.
